AMT is an award-winning metal manufacturing company based in Singapore known for their metal injection molding (MIM) and high volume parts production. AMT decided to expand their capabilities by adding 3D metal printing to their suite of services.
The launch of this new 3D metal printing division, called AMT3D, depended on the company’s ability to work with a marketing firm that could brand and develop key messaging in a manner that resonated and activated buyers in all target regions: Asia, Europe and the U.S.
The FLETCH team traveled to Singapore to meet with the AMT sales and marketing leadership team to understand the new service and its commercial goals. With this information, we researched the buyer and translated the needs of AMT’s new 3D metal printing division into a set of marketing efforts to help package and launch this new service.
Our efforts included everything from market research and brochures, videos and fliers, to product launch event pieces and booth design. Furthermore, all pieces were developed in less than three months in order to launch at a high visibility industry event in New York City.
Working alongside the executive team, FLETCH packaged AMT 3D metal printing (now called AMT3D) and helped successfully launch the new service at MD&M East in New York – one of the largest medical design and manufacturing expos in the world.
These materials also helped sales teams articulate the key value propositions of this new offering in order to jumpstart sales with new and existing customers.
Given the successful launch of AMT3D, FLETCH continues to work on branding and awareness efforts for other AMT products and services.
