The Coolief app was so successful, its design is now considered a best practice at Halyard.
Halyard Health sought to make it easier for global sales teams to sell Coolief Cooled RF – a minimally-invasive, outpatient treatment that can safely treat chronic pain. In order to boost global awareness of the product, Halyard sought to develop a better mobile app for their worldwide sales team. More specifically, a sales app that would house all product descriptions, competitive details, visual animation and clinical information necessary to facilitate a physician or healthcare administrator’s decision-making process.
Given the international locations of their sales and marketing representatives, this mobile app also had to be designed to sync to the company’s CRM system, SalesForce, in order to eliminate the need to print and distribute brochures to all Halyard teams worldwide. Furthermore, the app had to implement UX design at the highest levels in order to cut through cultural and language barriers.
We met with the Coolief marketing team to wrap our arms around the app development requirements. We also captured key business goals and translated them into a timeline of mobile design, back-end development and project management in order to align to campaign deadlines and commercial objectives.
To facilitate the mobile app creation process, we also organized all data and coordinated with Halyard Health’s IT development team in Asia to ensure the application was developed in a timely manner.
Working with the Coolief global marketing and sales team, we quickly created one of the best sales apps the company has ever produced. In fact, the Coolief mobile app was so intuitive and helpful in clarifying the benefits of the product, it was downloaded by a record number of sales team members worldwide.
